LFG – Keep On Thinking School
This Video is about the new school by PPAG architects. The Primary School and Vocational College with the newly constructed educational facilities can house up to 1 000 students and the space is designed to fit the needs of contemporary educational approaches. Easy synergetic communication between the two institutions allows children of all ages to mix and mingle. This way the younger children can look up to their older peers, have shared study activities and form their first insights into possible vocational education. Free learning and project-oriented teaching are also in the foreground.
Damit sie möglichst wenig vom bestehenden Freiraum wegnimmt, ist die Schule mit sechs Stockwerken vergleichsweise hoch geplant. Die Ganztagesvolksschule befindet sich äußerst kompakt im erdgeschossnahen horizontalen Teil, die Berufsschule ist im nach oben abnehmenden, vertikalen Teil beheimatet. Den oberen Abschluss der Berufsschule bildet die sogenannte „Übungsfirma“, mit Blick über die Stadt. (ppag)
